New ‘Kosher’ restaurant opens in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv, Israel — A new kosher restaurant in Tel-Aviv, which has the title “Kosher” restaurant in Israel, opened on Tuesday with the menu of traditional Jewish food.
The restaurant, which will have a wine bar, is located at the entrance of the former Tel-Amol, a hotel.
“The Tel Aviv Restaurant and Bar was founded in 2018 with the goal of offering an authentic dining experience in a historic location.
We wanted to create an atmosphere of openness and intimacy for our guests, who are our core audience,” said Zev Shmuel, the CEO of Tel Aviv Restaurants.
“Our vision is to bring a new taste of Jewish dining to Tel Aviv.”
The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days weekdays, and will be the first kosher restaurant to open in Tel Amol.
The restaurant has also partnered with the Israel Tourism Authority to offer a special Jewish Passover dinner in the restaurant.
The dinner will be hosted by Tel Aviv Chef and restaurateur Zev Yosef.
The Tel Aviv restaurant will offer kosher food for $4.95 a person.
Shmuel said that Tel Aviv restaurants in Israel and around the world were often overlooked by the mainstream dining culture and were missing the opportunity to open a restaurant of its own.
The new Tel Aviv location is part of a broader effort by the company to expand its business.
The company also opened its first kosher eatery in New York City in 2018.
