How to save $300 on your first year of grad school
The first thing I always say to my students when they apply for a full-time position is, “It will be a little bit expensive, but we are not going to get fired.”
I don’t want them to get discouraged or give up on their dreams of attending a prestigious graduate school.

But how do you find that dream job?
For starters, I always tell my students that the path to earning a Ph.
D. in any field is a long and winding one.
So before they apply, I ask them what they want to do after graduation and what they’d like to do once they graduate.
And then I give them a few tips for the next four years to help them get to that goal.
